ALICE FORD
Alice Ford is an award-winning adventure filmmaker, travel host, stuntwoman, and sustainability expert. Growing up in New Hampshire, she developed a love for nature and adventure, inspired by her father's background as a ski patrolman, river guide, and traveler. Her childhood adventures included road trips, skiing, and exploring historical sites, fueling her passion for encouraging others to protect the planet.
Alice competed in gymnastics, track and field, and skiing, which helped her get into college, where she earned a Master’s in Environmental Management. Her career includes roles as a gymnastics coach, bar owner, VIP host, and stuntwoman. In 2013, she started her blog and YouTube channel, and in 2024, her show “Alice’s Adventures on Earth” debuted on PBS Stations. Since 2011, Alice has worked as a stuntwoman on major films like Transformers and Star Trek.
MARIA CARIDAD ROJAS
A passionate traveler, explorer, and runner, she has turned her love for adventure into a thriving business. With experience in over 31 countries and having lived in Asia, Oceania, and Europe, she brings a rich global perspective to her work. Her deep affection for mountains has led her to conquer peaks such as Cotopaxi, Cayambe, and many others in the Andes and the high Amazon. Additionally, she is an avid trail and ultra runner, constantly seeking new challenges in nature's most rugged terrains.
Since the pandemic, she has become a dedicated tourism activist, striving to empower communities across Ecuador, particularly in the Amazon, to preserve their lands rather than sell them to mining companies and the timber industry. She also organizes trail running races in these regions to boost local tourism.
Her deep passion for showcasing Ecuador to the world has led to the creation of unique, authentic experiences that offer travelers lifelong memories. With over five years in the field, she has led expeditions and scouted locations for international productions in the Amazon jungle, the Andes, and the Galápagos Islands.

Meanwhile, in the Amazon jungle, you'll experience a deep connection with "La Madre Selva," where the biodiversity and mysticism of the place will immerse you in nature at its purest form. It’s an adventure that will take you from the heights of the Andes to the heart of the jungle!
DAY 1 - 6
DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN QUITO
Welcome to Ecuador! Upon arrival at Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, you will be greeted by our team for a transfer to the Wyndham Hotel Airport, a comfortable hotel just 5 minutes from the airport. Enjoy a restful evening before beginning your adventure.

DAY 2
Exploring Quito & Transfer to Cotopaxi
After breakfast, we visit Mitad del Mundo to stand on the equatorial line and explore exhibits about Earth's hemispheres. Then, we head to Quito’s UNESCO-listed Historic Center to discover colonial churches and convents, including La Compañía de Jesús, San Francisco Church, and Plaza, followed by a chocolate tasting experience showcasing Ecuador's famous cacao. In the afternoon, we transfer to Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, for accommodation and dinner at Hacienda El Porvenir (or similar), an Andean lodge surrounded by stunning landscapes.

DAY 3
Adventure in Cotopaxi
After breakfast, you can choose between two exciting activities: horseback riding along the scenic slopes of Cotopaxi Volcano, led by local chagras (Ecuadorian cowboys), or taking an Andean cooking class, where you'll learn to prepare traditional highland dishes using local ingredients. Afterward, enjoy lunch at the hacienda and spend the afternoon at your leisure, taking in the stunning Andean landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hacienda El Porvenir (or similar).

DAY 4
Trekking in Cotopaxi & Relaxation at Papallacta
After an early breakfast, you can choose between two trekking options: a challenging trek to the Cotopaxi Refuge, situated at 4,800 meters (15,748 feet) above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Andean landscapes and an up-close experience with Ecuador's iconic volcano, or a shorter, scenic walk around the Limpiopungo Lagoon, where you can admire stunning reflections of Cotopaxi and observe diverse Andean wildlife. After descending, we’ll enjoy lunch before traveling to Papallacta Hot Springs, a natural thermal spa nestled in the Andes. Here, you can relax in the mineral-rich waters, known for their healing properties. Dinner and overnight will be at Termas de Papallacta (or similar), a beautiful retreat in the heart of the mountains.

DAY 5
Immersion in the Ecuadorian Amazon
After breakfast, we will venture into the breathtaking Amazon Rainforest, beginning with a visit to Amupakin, where Kichwa women will guide you through a traditional cleansing ritual using ancestral healing techniques and medicinal plants. We will then continue to Sinchi Warmi, a community tourism center run by indigenous women, where you will savor a traditional Amazonian lunch prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Immerse yourself in a wellness experience with a steam bath infused with aromatic medicinal herbs, an ancient practice for purification and relaxation. Later, take part in an artisanal chocolate-making experience, roasting cacao beans and crafting your own Amazonian chocolate. To end the day, board a canoe and glide through the winding jungle waterways, discovering the rainforest’s rich biodiversity and connecting with the pure essence of the Amazon.

DAY 6
The Great Canyon of Cotundo and Return to Quito
After breakfast, we will explore the Great Canyon of Cotundo, a hidden natural wonder deep in the jungle. Guided by an expert, we will hike through dense rainforest trails leading to a breathtaking canyon with crystal-clear waters. Here, you can swim in the refreshing natural pools, discover a hidden waterfall surrounded by lush tropical flora, and enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of nature. In the afternoon, we will return to Quito and check in at the Holiday Inn Quito Airport, where you can relax and enjoy a final night of rest before your next adventure.

Upon arrival on San Cristobal Island, one of the easternmost islands in the Galapagos archipelago, you will be greeted by the pristine beauty of this paradise. A transfer from the airport to your hotel is included for your convenience. Our tour starts at 3:00 pm with an exciting snorkeling experience at Lobería Beach, where you will have the opportunity to swim alongside playful sea lions and observe a vibrant array of marine life in the crystal-clear waters. In the evening, a hearty welcome dinner awaits, featuring fresh local ingredients and flavors. Accommodation for the night is arranged in a comfortable hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for the adventures ahead.

DAY 8
Immerse yourself in a 360° exploration of San Cristóbal.
The 360° experience is the crown jewel of our adventures! Spend an unforgettable day cruising around San Cristóbal, immersing yourself in its natural wonders. We kick off with an exhilarating snorkeling session at Kicker Rock, where swimming alongside turtles and sharks is a truly magical experience. As we continue our journey, we’ll stop at the breathtaking Cerro Brujo for panoramic views and perfect photo opportunities. Then, relax on the pristine sands of Bahía Sardina before setting off on a local fishing adventure at Punta Pitt. The day concludes with a mesmerizing snorkeling session in the vibrant coral reefs of Bahía Rosa Blanca—an experience that will leave you in awe.

DAY 9
Isabela Island Adventure: Volcanoes, Wildlife, and Snorkeling
Today, you’ll embark on an exciting 45-minute flight to the captivating Isabela Island. This volcanic gem, renowned for the majestic Sierra Negra Volcano, offers a dramatic landscape of expansive lava fields, towering craters, and ecosystems that are unlike anywhere else. We’ll begin our adventure with a hike along the historic Wall of Tears trail, where you’ll explore the poignant ruins of the wall while soaking in panoramic views of the island’s rugged beauty.
Next, we’ll make our way to a serene lake, a perfect spot to witness flamingos gracefully gliding through the water, allowing you to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment. After a delicious lunch, we’ll continue with a peaceful kayaking session through calm waters, where you might encounter playful sea lions and colorful tropical birds, creating unforgettable moments.
Finally, the day will culminate with a thrilling snorkeling experience.

DAY 10
Epic Trekking in Sierra Negra Volcano
NOTE: We will provide an alternative for those who prefer not to trek. This option will allow participants to enjoy a relaxing day at the largest beach in the Galápagos, offering a peaceful experience without any trekking involved.
An unforgettable trekking adventure is about to begin. This trek to Sierra Negra Volcano will take you around its massive caldera, one of the largest in the world, allowing you to witness the geological forces that shaped the Galápagos Islands. The volcanic landscapes present a striking contrast to the island's lush vegetation and coastal views. Words fall short in describing this awe-inspiring scenery. It is one of our favorite places to experience the profound silence of the islands.
Afterward, we’ll return to town for a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay, savoring the day’s exploration of Isabela’s natural wonders.

DAY 11
Santa Cruz: Heart of the Galapagos
Bid farewell to Isabela Island early in the morning, taking a scenic speed boat ride to Santa Cruz, which will take about 2 hours. Centrally located in the Galápagos archipelago, Santa Cruz is a vibrant hub of activity and natural beauty. The island is home to Puerto Ayora, the largest town in the Galápagos, offering numerous amenities and services.
In the morning, we’ll visit a special location where Galápagos tortoises roam freely in their natural habitat, and you’ll have the chance to trek around this stunning area, immersing yourself in the beauty of the surroundings. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, a center dedicated to the conservation of Galápagos wildlife, where you can observe giant tortoises up close. Conclude your Galápagos journey with a delicious farewell dinner
